Edged in cobalt blue, this festive design by Amora Mexico is a perfect place to keep personal treasures. In the traditional style of Talavera pottery, hand-painted stylized fruits of all sorts cover all four sides and the lid of this domed pottery box. In fact, the choice of fruit is sure to complement your fall décor! There are images of watermelon, oranges, apples, pumpkin, pomegranate, grapes, just to name a few.

This hand-thrown pottery lidded trinket box is glazed in a creamy white on the inside and marked clearly "Amora Hecho en Mexico." There are no chips or cracks and the glaze is in terrific condition. In fact, every aspect of this storage piece is in wonderful vintage condition!

The lidded box is approximately 6 ½” wide, 4 3/8” across and 3” tall. It weighs 2 pounds 1 ounce (plus the weight of packing material).

This is a magnificent example of vintage Amora Talavera pottery.

Tidbit: Amora is a company with tradition and three generations heritage. Amora is proud of all their products and their meanings, from a simple coffee cup that represents the flavors of Mexico to one of their pots that decorates and gives harmony to any space.
