Here we have a Blu-ray steelbook of the 2010 action/thriller The Expendables

Directed by Sylvester Stallone and stars Jason Statham, Dolph Lundgren, Jet Li, Randy Couture, Terry Crews, Charisma Carpenter and Stallone himself

Rare French import, released by French studio Metropolitanand is an exclusive to FNAC stores in France. Confirmed as Region B-locked; will play on any UK/European Blu-ray player (or any player belonging to Australia, New Zealand et al. since those regions share the same region coding for Blu-rays). Even though its a foreign release it has lossless audio track in English, however, these French Blu-rayreleases are sometimes known to have forced French subtitles when the English audio is selected so this is worth bearing in mind when committing to any purchase

Unsealed but is in mint condition; doesnt have dents, dings, scratches or any such imperfections - it has been well looked after since I got it originally, and has been kept in a plastic polysleeve to ensure it hasnt been able to pick up any unnecessary wear from being slid on and off the shelf etc.

This French FNAC exclusive steelbook of The Expendablesis rare and difficult to come by nowadays as it was discontinued by Metropolitanages ago and remains OOP (Out of Print) ever since. It features a really nice glossy finish on the covers, and also, comes with the collectors booklet that came with it originally (pictures 6-12 show select pages of the booklet)

Personally I think this French steelbook of The Expendables is much nicer than the one that was released over here, as that one had a really dull, black and grey design whereas this French version has all the characters shown on the front (along with a nicer, more vibrant colour scheme) and looks much better

Will be well protected when its sent out because I realise how fragile these items are and how easily they can pick up damage
